Built to Spec, From the Ground Up
This Western North Carolina new construction build required careful coordination at every stage, from framing a two-story great room with a large window wall to plumbing rough-ins positioned to meet very specific client requests. Working alongside HomeSource Design Center, every custom detail in this home had a construction decision behind it.

Open by Design, Engineered to Deliver
The great room's floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace, flanked by built-in cabinetry with open shelving, required close coordination between framing, masonry, and finish carpentry. Large multi-panel doors open to the exterior deck, made possible by careful structural planning to keep the transition clean and unobstructed. The kitchen uses three cabinet finishes in one space, white painted uppers, warm natural wood lowers, and a dark navy island, with a pot filler over the range that required a dedicated water line roughed in during framing.
From the Staircase to the Faucet Height
The staircase features white oak treads and a newel post with black rod balusters, with step lighting integrated into the stringer. In the primary bath, a freestanding soaking tub sits beneath a corner window arrangement that was planned in framing long before the walls closed. The brass wall-mount faucets were installed at a custom height to accommodate one owner's routine of washing their hair in the sink. It doesn’t get more custom than that!
