Tim is the Owner and Founder of HomeSource Builders and the HomeSource Design Center, with over three decades of specialized experience in the Asheville real estate, development, and residential construction sectors. His extensive career has equipped him with a deep, practical knowledge of site-specific challenges, including those unique to mountain terrain, steep-slope building, and high-performance home design. Tim’s leadership is grounded in a commitment to construction excellence, operational integrity, and long-term client satisfaction—principles that are embedded in the company's processes and project delivery standards. As a 14-year member of the NAHB Builder 20 Club, a national peer-review organization of top-tier residential builders, Tim actively collaborates with industry leaders to exchange best practices, refine business systems, and stay at the forefront of building innovation. His combination of technical expertise and business acumen has positioned HomeSource as a trusted leader in the region’s custom home market.

Suzi Poteat

Chief Financial Officer
Suzi has over forty-five years of extensive financial experience, twenty-five of which are in construction-specific industries. She is kind, intuitive, and devoted to her work, ensuring the financial integrity of HomeSource Builders and HomeSource Design Center. While her teamwork with Amy is behind the scenes of our day-to-day operations, her work is critical to our company. Suzi holds an Associate’s Degree in Computer Programming from Asheville Buncombe Technical College.

Vice President of Construction
Henry is one of our most experienced Project Managers and has over 20 years of experience in the construction industry and is retired from law enforcement. He has been with HomeSource Builders as a Project Manager for 14 years and specializes in new construction. He is a straight shooter with a "can-do!" attitude and knowledge of three decades.
Amy Duckett

Office Manager
Amy has over thirty years of construction industry knowledge, giving her a deep understanding of how fast-paced and intricate construction can be. She has exemplary organizational skills, is very talented in multitasking, and regularly collaborates with Suzi to make a dynamic duo. Her dedication to detail in financial matters is unique and indispensable. She showcases her talents as the Office Manager/Accounts Payable of HomeSource Builders and HomeSource Design Center.
Joshua Prior

As an Asheville native and a third-generation carpenter with over 25 years of field construction experience, Joshua Prior brings both deep-rooted craftsmanship and a strong work ethic to every project. For 16 years, he successfully owned and operated his own business, gaining firsthand insight into all aspects of construction management and client service.
In his role as a Project Developer, Joshua believes that building healthy, lasting relationships with clients is just as important as delivering exceptional results. His goal is to ensure that every project is completed to the highest quality standards while remaining timely, efficient, and client-focused.
